WAVES  (waves.uac.pt) is a workshop that takes place every year. It is part of a partnership with local companies (Azores) and INESC-TEC's CRAS centre (https://www.inesctec.pt/en/centres/cras#presentation).

The main objective is to test underwater robotics for science, surveillance, and security activities and to promote knowledge transfer in this area, framing it in multidisciplinary projects linked to the sea/ocean, volcanology, ecology, and the environment, among others.
